This initiative gave him many satisfactions.
In fact a retailer in Vicenza commissioned him an important
order and from there others followed. He was latter contacted by the designer of Henry Cottons who asked him to collaborate with the company.
Paolo, pleasantly surprised, obviously took on the challenge and that was the steppingstone for his career. In addition to sheepskin gloves, he also made leather gloves before introducing the colourful “hipster” ones coordinating with Henry cottons jackets and other prestigious brands. From there the production of leather belts, bags, and jackets was fast.
His adventure in the world of fashion expanded so quickly to the point of having leave his brother to take over running the company already consolidated (while still continuing to collaborate) in order to open, in the heart of down town Vicenza, a few made-to-measure leather clothing and accessories shops. But Paolo Zanellato’s creative frenzy never sleeps.
Recently, for example, a new idea persuaded him to make work aprons inspired by fashion. As usual, it seems to be a winning hunch.
